KX ART (see in details here) is a series of experimental works combining high humanities texts (from our publications) with everyday gestures and acts. The relationship between the two “worlds” is along the lines of analogy or challenging absurdity.

This episode, entitled „My Story“, is based on texts by French writer Georges Perec from his book Thoughts of Sorts (Penser/Classer, translated into Bulgarian by Julian Zhiliev.

What is talking about myself?

What types of obstacles this talking goes through? Who needs it?

What is the role of psychoanalysis here?

Does my story exist „out there“, somewhere in my past, objectively? Or it is constantly being constructed in my conversation with the other?

When does this story tell itself? And what kind of event is this utterance itself?

The acting and the specific situational concept for the episode is being done by the actress and director Juliana Saiska.

Antoaneta Koleva is author of the idea of KX ART series, while the conceptual design about the text/etude synergy is by Nikolay Kolev and Antoaneta Koleva. The overall video production and solutions are by Nikola Gyulmezov.
